Tallac (tuh-lak) uses a lightweight and breathable Cordura® upper with a stitch-free and fully welded construction for durability. Tallac BOA® has been updated with the PerformFit™ Wrap from the BOA® Fit System is designed to improve power transfer and efficiency while providing a micro-adjustable, precision fit you can adjust on the fly. A supportive and vibration-dampening midsole keeps things feeling calm and collected on the bike while the reverse hex traction in the toe and heel of the outsole makes easy work when hiking becomes necessary.

Fit: True To Size

Not for me

Docking 1 star for the outsole quality. The knobby tread on the toebox started to break off after 3 days of use.

Docking another star for a design decision that impacts the fit of the shoe (possibly just on small sizes). The three straps attached to boa extend down to the toe box. That means tightening down your instep also tightens the toe box. I experienced a lot of forefoot pain when appropriately tightened, but no pain when loose.

Otherwise the shoe upper seems durable. Comfort hike-a-biking (when boa loose) was good. Fast shipping and easy returns for the other size I ordered to try.

Sloppy Tow Box

The toe box is oversized, even for a person with wide feet you can expect a lot of sloop. Lots of movement in the shoe made it feel dangerous. Size down.

I ordered these because I had the shoelace talkac I must say these are not as comfortable as the shoelace version . I have to wear two socks to stop the rubbing and irritation on my foot. However they are a good shoe but a bit disappointing that they don’t fit exactly like the shoelace Taylor.
