I know it sounds hyperbolic but true. I have had the older version of this shoe (appears to be unchanged) for 3 seasons and they are by far the most comfortable, easiest to put on/off, and feel light on the foot. I have a somewhat wide foot so I always used Shimano's "wide " option because every other cycling shoe felt cramped. These are perfect for my foot. These fit true-to-size and have been durable with no issues yet. I have owned (still own many) Specialized, Diadora, Five-ten, and Leatt shoes and I always grab these. I do need to re-tighten the BOA after wearing the shoes for a few minutes but I have that issue with all my shoes. Far easier than re-tightening laces. I like them so much I bought another pair and a pair of Tellac BOA clipless to try those out a well since I often get shoes wet and don't want to put on damp shoes that haven't dried yet.
sole note thick enough so i walk on the cleat. cleat is in power position
Men's Accomplice Clip BOA®
I’ve had accomplices in the past with laces and they fit fine. These are oddly small in the toe box and dig in to the point that I can barely even walk in them. The boa tightens unevenly meaning that they can be cranked super tight but my heels still slide out.
Simply put…way way way too tight in the for foot position.
