I'm 16 years old and originally from Portland, Oregon. I have been riding bikes since I was 6 years old, and have been racing since I was 8. I have always been drawn more to freeriding like dirt jumps and skate parks, but also race downhill as well. I now attend an action sports boarding school located at the base of Mount Hood 8 months a year to ride and travel as much as possible!

We joined forces with Teton Gravity to create a limited series of our classic Livewire mountainbike flat shoe, the TGR Livewire. Available for men, women and kids, the TGR Livewire collab shoe is made for every type of rider: from groms in pump parks to pro athletes pushing the limits of what's possible. The TGR Livewire is releasing in unison with TGR's latest feature film project Esperanto, a film that mixes the rock stars of the sport with a cast of unknown and up-and-coming heroes, exploring how we share our dreams through a universal two-wheeled language. In Esperanto, catch Ride Concepts athletes Carson Storch, Kyle Strait, Brooke Anderson, Andreu Lacondeguy and more, on tour now.

At just 16 years old, Brooke Anderson is the youngest rider to be featured in the TGR’s new mountain bike epic, calling it an “incredible experience.” Brooke challenged the versatility of the TGR Livewire while shooting for Esperanto, putting the shoe through the paces of all types of riding.

“I wore the TGR Livewire on Kyle [Strait’s] dirt jumps and slalom course, as well as technical steep trails. I like how the Livewire is sturdy, but not too stiff. The shoe works for both dirt jumping and trail riding.”

Esperanto documents how riding bikes is a universal process no matter what language we speak. As she excitedly gets ready for her very first film premier, Brooke reflects on how she’s experienced a similar commonality as a traveling bike athlete:

“As I've grown up riding and traveling for biking, I've met people from all over the world of all different ability levels, ages, and riding styles, and I definitely believe that no matter your background, we all share the same love for riding, and that brings people together!”

We can’t wait to see Brooke on the big screen!
