Ride Concepts Partners with High Fives Foundation

Based in Truckee, CA, High Fives Foundation focuses on preventing life-changing injuries and provides resources and hope if they happen. Since 2009, High Fives has raised funds, secured alternative treatments, aided in the recovery of hundreds of athletes across the nation, and launched campaigns around injury prevention.

2019

In December of 2019, Ride Concepts announced the “Feel Good, Give Back" campaign, a holiday initiative to support injured athletes. The campaign ran throughout the month of December, donating $5 from every shoe sold on rideconcepts.com in support of High Fives. The campaign proved to be so impactful that Ride Concepts did it again in 2020! This time, the proceeds would go directly towards the purchase of an adaptive bike for a High Fives athlete. To date, the foundation has purchased 93 bikes, some of which can cost up to $10,000!

2020

The 2020 results were even better than the previous year! To celebrate and present the check, the Ride Concepts team met up with Roy Tuscany, founder of High Fives Foundation, and a host of their local adaptive athletes at Sierra Vista Bike Park in Reno, NV. Wufky Crosby, Sean Kent, Jarred Evans, and Jason Abraham took the helm of their adaptive bikes and ripped laps into the evening sun, hitting jumps, railing corners and sending off the drops.
